Alexandre is happy to welcome you to a renovated, warm and welcoming place, between the Combe Laval cirque and the Font d'Urle ski resort.
The "Gîte du Vercors" is nestled in the heart of the Vercors Regional Nature Park, in Lente, between the Combe Laval cirque and the Font d'Urle ski resort. We are roughly equidistant from Saint-Jean-en-Royans and La Chapelle-en-Vercors.
Our lodge is easy to reach, in summer and winter alike (see the Getting here section) and stays well cleared during snowy periods.
The snowplough regularly passes in front of the lodge, since our property sits on the direct road leading to the Font d'Urle alpine ski resort.
Summer
Hiking, mountain biking, horses and fresh air
We sit at the start of the GR95, midway along the GTV (Grande Traversée du Vercors), at the start of a forest trail, and 1.2km from the Sentier central. Alpine pastures, marked mountain-bike trails, a swimming pool, pétanque, a petting farm, horse and donkey rides... plenty to make the most of the Lente forest.

Winter
Snowshoeing, dog sledding and family skiing
Snowshoe trails start right from our car park, as do dog-sledding outings with our partner Alaskan Vercors Aventure. The family-friendly Font d'Urle / Chaud Clapier resort is just 10-15 minutes away, with 16km of slopes for all levels.
